Night Milieu Coordinator
Cunningham Children’s Home seeks two enthusiastic, organized, experienced supervisors to provide supervisory support to staff in the afternoon and evening, and to manage the scheduling of staff to work with our youth. Typical rotating hours are 1pm to 12am four days per week (including weekends).
The Coordinators will: objectively monitor, address and report concerns in delivery of therapeutic services to youth that live in our residential treatment center, participate in the On-Call system, and must become certified trainers (agency sponsored) in crisis intervention and provide training on approved technique to staff. The Coordinators will also use KRONOS to manage the centralized scheduling for our residential treatment center staff.
The ideal candidates will provide staff and youth with an optimistic and supportive environment to minimize risk and meet quality standards in a fair and consistent manner.
At least 5 years of professional experience in residential treatment (with children and/or adolescents with severe emotional/behavioral disturbances) is required. At least 2 of those years must be in a supervisory position. Bachelor’s degree required. Experience with and knowledge of TCI preferred. Microsoft Office based computer skills a must. We require excellent written and oral skills with a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and maintain confidentiality.
Prospective employees must be at least 21 years old, possess and maintain a valid Illinois driver's license and proof of auto insurance, submit to a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check. Salary is based on education and experience.
